"Boardwalk Empire"

This show is just REALLY GOOD lol. No other way to put it. It has me hooked and continues to be a trending topic on Twitter every Sunday. Like I said in an earlier tweet, it is well worth spending an hour watching this show and todays episode actually had me hoping for at least 15 more minutes at least. The preview for next weeks episode looks TOO GOOD again lol. Overall, this show is highly recommended and everyone should check it out!

That's all you got?

Behind the scenes footage on the set of "Kings of Bushwick" shooting on green screen! Actor Julito McCullum from HBO's hit series "The Wire" plays the role of Primo. You can see how fun it was to shoot these military scenes. The noise from the machine gun was so loud that it temporarily blew out the mic of the camera we shot this video on!

Director/Producer Angelo Lopez in his acting debut! This is the trailer from the first full-length feature film he starred in titled, "Street Hitz." Pretty cool stuff!

"Don't Let Me Drown"

"Don't Let Me Drown" is a film that I had a supporting role in. It was directed by Cruz Angeles, a very talented filmmaker who just directed an ESPN "30 for 30" documentary. My character is Ray and the experience I had filming this movie was phenomenal. The entire cast & crew are good people and we continue to keep in contact. This is how I met Moises Acevedo, who plays the role of "Tone" in "Kings of Bushwick." Now, after making its way through the global film festival circuit, it was picked up by HBO, Showtime, The Movie Channel, and is on DVD at! Overall, the film is very well put together with a love story that takes place during the trying time period after 9/11. Go cop your very own copy of "Don't Let Me Drown" on DVD and enjoy!

"The Town" Mini-Review

I saw this film last night and even though I barely made the showing and didn't have the best seats in the world, IT WAS DOPE! The thing that got caught my eye in the first place were the actors and they really did not disappoint at all. Ben Affleck did a great job directing and acting, Jeremy Renner is a BEAST, Blake Lively surprised me and Rebecca Hall and Jon Hamm were very solid as well. I highly recommend seeing this action packed movie and it does indeed deserve the #1 spot.

"The mun2 Look"

Check Me Out! Screenshot above is taken from "The mun2 Look" episode I appeared in alongside Host/Actress Paula Garc├ęs.

What's up everybody? This is Mike Lopez making my first post on Kings Eyes Productions brand new blog. I am an Actor/Rapper/Producer and I am very proud to say that I am an Executive Producer of "Kings of Bushwick." The experience has been indescribable and I have grown immensely. This is OUR masterpiece. As you see in the picture above, I am also playing a lead role in this short film. The role is Lou Sanchez, and the layers of this character were crazy fun to explore lol. You will see! It is even more exciting to be in post-production right now because the possibilites are endless. Now that we're done shooting, I've gotten back into my music as well so stay tuned!
